Melissa has previously worked in a variety of service professions, primarily focused on customer service and sales. She has also worked as a middle school teacher and mentor.

Melissa has also served on Borås Youth Council and volunteered with many youth activities such as U-port.

Melissa studied International Baccalaureate as well as social and behavioral science in secondary school. After that, she moved to London to study music at the British Modern Music Institute.
